About the SubComittee

Definition and Purpose of Website Subcommittee:

     The Middlesex County Website Subcommittee of Narcotics Anonymous exists for the expressed purpose of carrying the NA message of recovery through the World Wide Web. We strive to achieve this purpose through maintaining and updating the NA Middlesex County Area website. We are a subcommittee of the Area Committee, and are accountable to this body.

Definition of Website Subcommittee Member:

     You are not a member when you say you are. Any member of NA willing to become a member of the subcommittee must attend two consecutive subcommittee meetings. On the second attendance said person gains membership status, which includes voting privileges and Google-Group invite. If said member is not in attendance of subcommittee meeting for 2 consecutive months, group conscience decides (on second absence) weather member loses voting privileges, and/or loses subcommittee membership.      Every member has the responsibility to uphold the subcommittee’s policy and the Twelve Traditions of NA. Each member must attend the subcommittee meetings, log in to Google-Group a minimum of one time per week and participate in discussions and voting.

Google-Group:

     The Google-Group MiddlsexNA (http://groups.google.com/group/middlesexna, middlesexna@googlegroups.com), is a medium utilized by the subcommittee to serve the subcommittees activities and business needs. The group as of now is used as: an archive for policies, minutes, and all other necessary documents; for voting on subcommittee matters; and a message board / way for the subcommittee to communicate. Only subcommittee members have access to the Google-Group.
