Narcotics Anonymous is a fellowship in which addicts help other addicts obstain from drug use. Recovery from the disease of addiction is an ongoing process. Some of the drugs that people in our fellowship have used are cocaine, heroin, marijuana, crystal meth, speed, amphetamines, perscription painkillers, other addictive perscriptions, and any other narcotic. Some members of our fellowship have withdrew from heroin and/or opiates. Methadone is still an opiate which people abuse and believe they are not getting high. A recent maintenance program which people belive that is a replacement for methadone, but is not, is called suboxone.
